Privacy Policy

This policy covers cloudmystic.tech, our public website. It explains the only two ways personal information reaches us through it: the enquiry form, and email you choose to send us.

Consulting engagements are governed by the separate written agreement for that engagement, which sets out how we handle client data. This policy does not replace it.

The enquiry form asks for your name and work email address, which are required, and optionally your company name and a topic. You also write a free-text message describing your enquiry.

That is the complete set of personal information the website asks you for. We do not ask for a postal address, telephone number, payment details or identification documents, and we ask that you do not include confidential or sensitive information in a first enquiry.

The form includes one hidden field that is invisible to people and exists only to catch automated submissions. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded.

We use what you send us for one purpose: to read your enquiry, reply to it, and hold the resulting correspondence about a possible engagement.

We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Where the law requires a basis for processing, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and on your consent where you have given it.

Nothing beyond what is technically required to serve you the page. The website sets no cookies, uses no browser storage, and loads no fonts, scripts or resources from third-party domains.

We have not installed any analytics, advertising or tracking technology. We therefore do not measure your visit, and we cannot recognise you across pages or across visits.

As with any website, our hosting infrastructure processes the technical connection data necessary to deliver and secure the service, which includes your IP address. This is handled by our hosting provider as described below.

The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure, operated by Microsoft. Microsoft acts as our hosting provider and processes connection data on our behalf in order to serve and secure the site.

Microsoft Azure is the only third-party service the website depends on. We do not currently use a separate analytics provider, advertising network, content delivery network, customer relationship management system or email marketing platform in connection with this website.

CloudMystic Technologies is established in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and our own handling of your enquiry takes place from there.

The website itself has no database and stores nothing. Your enquiry is transmitted to us when you submit it and is not retained by the site.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to respond and to maintain a record of the discussion, and after that only for as long as required for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. If you ask us to delete your enquiry and we have no obligation to keep it, we will.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Beyond Microsoft Azure in its hosting capacity, we share personal information only where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. You can also withdraw consent at any time where our processing rests on consent.

To make any of these requests, email meghana@cloudmystic.tech. We will acknowledge your request and tell you what we have done about it.

You may also have the right to raise a concern with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

The website is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiries are transmitted over that encrypted connection. Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the people at CloudMystic who need it in order to reply.

No website or transmission method is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. We hold no security certification for this website and make no such claim.

If we add a service that changes what is collected or who processes it — analytics, a customer relationship system, or a third-party form handler — we will update this policy before that service goes live, and change the effective date shown on this page.
